    Chaff Spraying
Yes, we are being sprayed —If someone takes conversational exception to the term “chemtrails” while discussing the curiously lingering and spreading of “contrails” in an otherwise blue sky, then ask them, “Are you aware that the government admits to the deployment of aerosolized particulates of known toxicity over America for training in military applications and other purposes? At that point, dismissing the existence of chemtrails as “conspiracy thinking” will be reduced to illogically denying that the government is openly exposing us to dangerous chemicals because we reject the term “chemtrails.”
    By Carole Pellatt
The substance being released from military aircraft is called “chaff” and started being used during World War II to jam enemy radar. Chaff is used today and is mentioned openly in many reports. Chaff has been sprayed upon us in military exercises since the 1940s. —According to the military’s paper “Defensive Training Initiative,” chaff contains; glass fiber (silica), aluminum, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, sodium and potassium oxide, iron oxide, aluminum coating, silicon + iron, copper, manganese, zinc, vanadium, titanium and “other.” –Chaff is a health hazard if inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin. —Here are some excerpts from a 1998 Department of Defense Report by the United States General Accounting Office-09/22/98, GAO/NSIAD-98-219: “Chaff is used worldwide in conjunction with military training, testing, and other assigned missions. —“While DOD (Department of Defense) components report that chaff is an effective means of defense for aircraft, ships, and related weapon systems, DOD and other agencies have identified some unintended and potential side effects of chaff. Chaff can affect safety by interfering with air traffic control radar. Chaff can also affect weather radar observations and the operation of friendly radar systems, especially when vehicles stir up chaff that has settled on the ground. It has been reported that chaff has also caused power outages and damaged electrical equipment. Potential effects cited by Defense and other organizations include those on health and the environment. For example, the Air Force reported that chaff has a potential but remote chance of collecting in reservoirs and causing chemical changes that may affect water and the species that use it.—“Chaff can show up on radar as a false weather phenomenon and may affect lightning within storms. The National Weather Service (NWS) began to observe the widespread and frequent use of chaff in the late 1980s, when it started using new and more sensitive weather radar. Radar observations show that chaff can spread over several hundreds of miles and stay in the air for up to a day. A scientist formerly with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), who now performs weather research at the University of Oklahoma, estimated it would have taken more than 200 billion chaff particles to create a radar picture taken in Arizona in 1997. DOD officials stated that it is improbable that such a large chaff deployment occurred outside of combat and is unlikely to occur in any future DOD training events…NOAA also provided pictures taken since 1993 in many other parts of the country and showing radar images of chaff.”—It’s hard to believe that people spend time on the Internet arguing about “contrails versus chemtrails” when this has been going on openly for decades. Call it what you want, the military openly admits that is has been spraying us with chemicals of known toxicity, without our permission, for generations.
Pesticide spraying We know the military sprays for many reasons. If you go to any Air National Guard site, aerial spraying missions are mentioned. Retrofitting C-135 refueling jets for aerial spraying missions is also mentioned. And if you read the annual military budget proposals, equipment and a myriad of heavy metal and chemical compounds for spraying are always on the wish list. According to the military, these spraying missions are for the alleged purpose of eradicating West Nile virus (WNV). Chemical and biological pathogens—We have every reason to assume that the military is still performing “vulnerability testing,” meaning that it is constantly testing how vulnerable we are to chemical and biological attacks by attacking us. We are “at war” and trying to make connections between past behaviors and probabilities of the present. I believe that some of the spray patterns we see in the air are to study drift patterns for chemical or biological weapons deployment in populated urban areas and to see how many people can be made ill by such attacks. Weather modification—Geoengineering is at the forefront of weather modification. Weather modification exists, there’s no debate about that. Experimentation in the U.S. began in the late 1800s in an effort to bring rain to midwest farms and accelerated in earnest in the 1950s as the Russians had already been working on it for military applications and the cold war had begun. National Security Memorandum 165, from May 2, 1972, is called “International Aspects Of Weather Modification.” The U.S. was well into it’s program by then. The document was de-classified in 2002. –The United States and Canada entered into a weather modification treaty in March of 1975. To quote this document: “The Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America, aware, because of their geographic proximity, that the effects of weather modification activities carried out by either Party or its nationals may affect the territory of the other; “Noting the diversity of weather modification activities in both Canada and the United States by private parties, by State and Provincial authorities, and by the Federal Governments;—-“Believing that the existing state of knowledge warrants the expectation of further development over a period of time in the science and technology of weather modification. (a) “Weather modification activities,” means activities performed with the intention of producing artificial changes in the composition, behaviour, or dynamics of the atmosphere.” –This is a very interesting document, as it describes, in 1975, the intended atmospheric changes these countries were planning to execute. Arizona: Here’s a little about Arizona’s role in weather modification exercises: Weather modification experiments began in 1952. From 1952-1956 Wilhelm Reich demonstrated clear desert greening effects during his cloudbuster operations near Tucson, AZ. —The OROP ARIZONA Experiment of 1989 was a series of cloudbusting experiments to “Bring Rain Into The Desert Southwest.” These experiments were conducted by Dr. James DeMeo, Phd., of Therough Orgone Biophysical Research Laboratory in the summer of 1989. Five separate field experiments were planned and announced in advance, undertaken by teams of workers using portable equipment, and recorded in extensive field observations. National Weather Service (NWS) data were used later to analyze the geographical distribution and intensity of atmospheric effects. –It’s interesting to note that one of the observations Dr. DeMeo made after his experiments was the connection between rainfall and underground nuclear testing: “The relationship between underground nuclear bomb testing and atmospheric phenomena needs further research and study. Soaring summertime temperatures were observed in the open desert shortly after a series of such tests. Additional systematic observations suggest a tendency for rainfall-diverting high pressures to build in the Pacific Ocean off the California coast following underground testing in Nevada. Similarly, an increasing buildup of DOR [dead orgone]-laden air, followed by drought or severe storms, has been observed in the Great Plains also following testing in Nevada.”–In 1992 The Water Resources Department of Arizona was studying weather modification as a way of increasing the water table for a vastly growing state. After BuRec’s (Bureau of Water Reclamation) role lessened, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), through its Federal-State Cooperative Atmospheric Modification Program (AMP), became Arizona’s chief federal partner in weather modification studies. Arizona, which joined AMP in 1989, was one of five U.S. states participating in the program. The other current (1992) AMP states are North Dakota, Utah, Illinois, and Nevada.–To quote this 1992 report, “regardless of what the projects were called, early advocates of weather modification often promised more than could be delivered. During the early years of weather modification work in the 1950s and 1960s, the shift from research to actual application was too rapid. This premature action was not consistent with the careful evolution of a body of knowledge and the maturing of recognized scientific principles. This created weather modification credibility problems. Others remain fully convinced that weather modification holds great promise to augment water resources. They believe its premise is sound and scientific findings promising. They believe its potential will be realized with more research and the eventual application of cloud seeding activities.”—One of the chemicals used in “cloud seeding” is silver iodide. Under the guidelines of the Clean Water Act enforced by the EPA, silver iodide is considered a hazardous substance, a priority pollutant and as a toxic pollutant.–At this point in history, we were heavy into the “Star Wars” program. Conceived decades earlier and made famous in the Reagan era, space is the new frontier for war and weapons. It is the playground of the military and a new theater for the arms race. Nuclear weapons, space-based lasers, first strike missiles, radar jamming satellites, electromagnetic weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and weather manipulation are all part of it. These high tech weapons require chemicals such as barium, aluminum, silver iodide, strontium, zinc and a whole array of other toxins to blanket the air—for radar jamming purposes, to test bacteriological drift patterns, to x-ray the sky to find optimum missile routes, to shroud a city or battlefield in cloaking metal particulates, to line up the criss-cross patterns in the sky with GPS, serve as a platform for virtual imagining and communications technologies or to cover an area in seeded clouds for weather modification. And these toxins are now being discovered in disproportionate amounts in bodies of water, soil, vegetation and even deer antlers. —People are discovering chemicals like barium fallout dusted on their cars and the rooftops of their houses. People are testing positive for barium poisoning and toxic levels of other heavy metals attributable to the incessant spraying activities.—Don’t expect the sky to look the way you remembered it any time soon. The government has forfeited the skies and militarized them on your behalf, without your permission and with your money

Potentially deadly fungus spreading in U.S. and Canada
    Reuters Health
    Thursday, April 22, 2010
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A potentially deadly strain of fungus is spreading among animals and people in the northwestern United States and the Canadian province of British Columbia, researchers reported on Thursday.—The airborne fungus, called Cryptococcus gattii, usually only infects transplant and AIDS patients and people with otherwise compromised immune systems, but the new strain is genetically different, the researchers said.”This novel fungus is worrisome because it appears to be a threat to otherwise healthy people,” said Edmond Byrnes of Duke University in North Carolina, who led the study.—“The findings presented here document that the outbreak of C. gattii in Western North America is continuing to expand throughout this temperate region,” the researchers said in their report, published in the Public Library of Science journal PLoS Pathogens at — http://dx.plos.org/10.1371/journal.ppat.1000850.—- “Our findings suggest further expansion into neighboring regions is likely to occur and aim to increase disease awareness in the region.”—The new strain appears to be unusually deadly, with a mortality rate of about 25 percent among the 21 U.S. cases analyzed, they said.—“From 1999 through 2003, the cases were largely restricted to Vancouver Island,” the report reads. “Between 2003 and 2006, the outbreak expanded into neighboring mainland British Columbia and then into Washington and Oregon from 2005 to 2009. Based on this historical trajectory of expansion, the outbreak may continue to expand into the neighboring region of Northern California, and possibly further.”—The spore-forming fungus can cause symptoms in people and animals two weeks or more after exposure. They include a cough that lasts for weeks, sharp chest pain, shortness of breath, headache, fever, nighttime sweats and weight loss.—It has also turned up in cats, dogs, an alpaca and a sheep.Freezing can kill the fungus and climate change may be helping it spread, the researchers said.

Russia Reports Over 2 Million Dead In US As Mysterious Die-Off Accelerates
A most chilling report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Science for Prime Minister Putin states that a “mysterious die-off” in the United States has claimed over 2,000,000 lives since 2008 and is “more than likely” linked to a “crossover” plant disease linked to genetically modified grains and foods.—According to these reports this mysterious, and as yet unidentified, lung disease responsible for this mass die-off began during the spring of 2008 in the US agricultural State of Iowa where (very ironically) at least 36 people attending a Lung Association event at the Governors mansion were stricken.—Important to note about Iowa is that it is one of the largest corn producing regions in the World harvesting over 2 billon bushels of this valuable grain farmed on nearly 32 million acres of its farmland, over 99% of which are genetically modified varieties made by the US agricultural giant Monsanto and idententifeid by their trade names of Mon 863, insecticide-producing Mon 810, and Roundup® herbicide-absorbing NK 603.—Not reported to the American people about these genetically modified corn varieties made by Monsanto was the study released by the International Journal of Biological Sciences warning that they were linked to organ damage. Monsanto quickly responded to this study, stating that the research was “based on faulty analytical methods and reasoning and do not call into question the safety findings for these products.”—-Russian scientists in these reports, however, call Monsanto’s claim of their genetically modified Mon 863 corn as being safe for human or animal consumption “totally without validation”, a finding supported by the French biomolecular engineering commission, the Commission du Génie Biomoléculaire (CGB) who stated in their report, “with the present data it cannot be concluded that GM corn MON 863 is a safe product.”—Further supporting the findings of Russian scientists was Greenpeace International, who in their report titled “MON 863: A chronicle of systematic deception” warned that the campaign to unearth and evaluate data about this most dangerous of genetically modified grains demonstrates, beyond all doubt, that MON863 is unfit for consumption.—Most unfortunately for the American people though, all of these warnings have been ignored by their government masters who have allowed the mass planting of these genetically modified crops to such an extent that in the United States today fully 80% of their corn and 93% of their soybeans are of these dangerous varieties and leading one Russian scientist in these reports to warn that our World is now on the verge of experiencing an ecological disaster of “Biblical proportions”.—And according to these reports this ecological disaster is well underway in the United States and supported by American death statistics showing that of the nearly 2.5 million deaths reported by them each year the number of “sudden deaths” has increased to 40% equaling out to over 2 million “mysterious and unexplained” deaths from early 2008 to March, 2010.—Now of these “mysterious and unexplained” American deaths, these reports continue, nearly all of them are lung related and being erroneously documented as being caused by influenza and pneumonia type diseases so as not to panic these peoples, but have, instead, been caused by as an yet unidentified plant virus that has successfully jumped the species barrier to human beings.—Supporting Russian scientists in these conclusions is new research being conducted by the Didier Raoult of the University of the Mediterranean in Marseilles, France, where for the first time in human history a plant virus has been found to cause problems in people.—Russian scientists further claim in these reports that the United States mass vaccination of their population this past year for the supposed H1N1 Swine Flu epidemic was instead a “very clumsy attempt” to stop the spreading of this mysterious lung disease by injecting into these peoples a DNA “fix” to this genetically modified corn, and which by all the evidence available, they state, appears to have failed.—For those wondering how the United States government could ever allow such a monstrous outrage to be committed on their citizens one only need know that over the past 10 years Monsanto has paid over $500 million in bribing those American officials responsible for food safety while at the same time has joined US corporate giants General Electric and Exxon Mobil in not paying any taxes despite the billions in profits they have reaped.—And for those Americans believing that President Obama will protect them from these outrages they couldn’t be more mistaken, and as we can read as reported by the Huffington Post News Service in their article titled “You’re Appointing Who? Please Obama, Say It’s Not So!” and which, in part, says:—“The person who may be responsible for more food-related illness and death than anyone in history has just been made the US food safety czar. This is no joke. Here’s the back story. When FDA scientists were asked to weigh in on what was to become the most radical and potentially dangerous change in our food supply — the introduction of genetically modified (GM) foods — secret documents now reveal that the experts were very concerned. Memo after memo described toxins, new diseases, nutritional deficiencies, and hard-to-detect allergens. They were adamant that the technology carried “serious health hazards,” and required careful, long-term research, including human studies, before any genetically modified organisms (GMOs) could be safely released into the food supply.——But the biotech industry had rigged the game so that neither science nor scientists would stand in their way. They had placed their own man in charge of FDA policy and he wasn’t going to be swayed by feeble arguments related to food safety. No, he was going to do what corporations had done for decades to get past these types of pesky concerns. He was going to lie.”—-Even worse for these American people are those believing they will be able to change their government in the upcoming National elections to be held in the United States this coming November, but which new reports are showing that Obama is also preparing for with a special military unit called the “Consequence Management Response Force” said ready to deploy during these elections at his command from his White House fortress the Washington Post writes has now become more like “Soviet-era Moscow” then the house of the people it used to be should these Americans begin to rise up against the growing corporate-run police state surrounding them.——New reports from America are also warning that Obama’s growing police state government is further moving against its own citizens by ordering their Internet giants to turn over all emails written by every citizen in their country, an insidious move Yahoo, for one, has vowed to fight. To the final outcome of all of these events it is not in our knowing, other than to note that in the same week that one of Obama’s Federal Courts has outlawed all Americans from celebrating their National Prayer Day, and Obama has vowed to rid the United States of all of its nuclear weapons, President Putin, on the other hand, stated that Russia’s internal and external security depends upon two things – “its traditional religions and its nuclear forces”…and leaving no doubt whatsoever that our World has, indeed, turned upside down as the US descends into tyranny and Russia moves toward freedom

    Anti Fungals
GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT (GSE): Grapefruit seed extract has been used in the treatment of human fungal infections. It is more effective at killing yeast than bleach, colloidal silver, tea tree oil and iodine (Sachs, The Authoritative Guide to Grapefruit Seed Extract, 1997). In the liquid form, it has a bitter taste and must be diluted in water or juice (carrot juice) or baby’s milk. It can be used for topical conditions as well as internal problems. There have been no side effects observed with use of GSE.
D-LIMONENE: found in essential oils of lemons, oranges, grapefruit, caraway, dill, bergamot, peppermint, spearmint, grasses and tomatoes. D-limonene is among a group of chemicals known as monoterpenes. These substances have been shown to cause regression and prevention of recurrence of mammary tumors in rats (Gould. Cancer Chemoprevention and Therapy by monoterpenes. Environmental Health Perspective, 1997. 105:5977-5979). They also have a direct tumorstatic effect, meaning they inhibit the growth of tumors, as well has the ability to block the initiation and promotion phases of carcinogenesis (Gould).
CAPRYLIC ACID a fatty acid derived from coconuts. Caprylic acid is safe and effective at killing yeast. Follow directions on the individual product label for correct doses.—Using Coconut oil—Coconut Cream—Coconut powder
PROBIOTICS: indiscriminant use of antibiotics leads to overgrowth of the normal intestinal yeast, which may either initiate problems or compound existing symptoms. By replacing the normal intestinal flora, yeast overgrowth may be inhibited. Probiotics are these normal flora, and include such species as Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacteria, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, among others. These are bacteria used in making yogurt- they are the “live active cultures” you see in the ingredients. They are important for the manufacture of B vitamins. They also protect against radiation damage, cancer, eczema, acne, allergies, and digestion disorders (Chaitow et al. Probiotics, 1995).
OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT: Olive leaf extract “has the ability to kill invading fungus rather than merely inhibiting its growth” (Walker, 1997). It contains a phenolic compound called oleuropein, which has antiviral, antifungal, antiprotozoal, and antibacterial properties (Walker).
GARLIC: Garlic in its natural form is a highly effective, broad-spectrum antifungal (Mowrey, 1986). It can be eaten whole, cooked in recipes, ground up in a carrot juice, or taken as a supplement that offers it in its whole, albeit dried, form.
MALIC ACID: Malic acid is found in apple cider vinegar. Although vinegars and most sauces are not encouraged in an antifungal diet, malic acid is antifungal. One might use a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar diluted in a glass of water to consume once or twice a day.
UNDECYLENIC ACID: An organic fatty acid expressed from castor bean oil that, in the older days, was listed and used as a pharmaceutical antifungal agent. Today, it can be found in an over the counter form and used for the same purpose in products such as Formula SF 722 (Thorne Research). It is also used in many over the counter antifungal powders such as those used to treat athlete’s foot and jock itch. It has approximately six times the antifungal activity of caprylic acid (Neuhauser, 1954).
PAU D’ARCO: May be taken in a capsule or a tea. The bark of this rainforest tree is inherently antifungal. Follow individual product directions for proper use.
Tea Tree Oil: A topical antifungal that should never be used internally, although at one time the leaves of the tree were boiled to form a tea that was consumed in order to prevent scurvy. The oil is derived from the indiginous Australian tree, melaleuca alternifolia, and it has been used for centuries as a general antiseptic, meaning that it kills a wide variety of germs (Carson and Riley, 1998). Studies at the University of Western Australia have documented antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties of tea tree oil. For skin problems, either direct, full strength application or dilution with water for washing purposes is recommended.
CARROT JUICE (Carrots): An article in The Journal of Microbiology in 1988 discussed antifungal properties of carrots. Despite their carbohydrate content, which can be rather high, say, if a large carrot juice is consumed, we generally feel that the nutritional and antifungal properties of carrots outweighs this concern- enjoy a carrot juice today!
HERBS AND VITAMINS: Most herbs and many vitamins that display health benefits, like the antioxidants (Vit. E, A, C, Zinc, etc.), have antifungal properties (Costantini, 1998). For example, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is added to commercial applesauce to prevent the growth of fungi in the jars and cans. We feel that this ability to inhibit fungi may be more responsible for their benefit than their mere nutritional qualities can provide alone, given the documented ability of fungi to cause disease and illness. Please note that if fungi can cause disease, it would probably not be a good idea to supplement with brewer’s yeast, a common practice in the nutritional arena.

Drug spending in Canada hits $30B

Study Says Overuse Threatens Gains From Modified Crops

Drug spending in Canada hits $30B—— Spending on prescription and non-prescription drugs in Canada reaches an estimated $30 billion, or $836 per person, but the rate of increase is slowing. Spending on prescription and non-prescription drugs in Canada reached an estimated $30 billion, or $836 per person, last year, but the rate of increase is slowing significantly, according to a report. –The Canadian Institute for Health Information said total spending in 2009 rose by about $1.5 billion over the previous year, but that 5.1 per cent increase was “the lowest annual growth rate observed in more than a decade.” —The institute’s annual report on drug expenditure lists spending trends for prescribed and non-prescribed drugs by province and territory and whether the spending was by government-paid drug plans or private sources. It also includes international comparisons. —In 2009, drugs accounted for the second-largest share of total health care after hospitals – 16.4 per cent of the country’s total $183-billion health-care bill, or about $30 billion. Hospitals consumed about $50 billion. “We spend a lot of money on drugs; $30 billion is a lot of money,” said Michael Hunt, director of pharmaceuticals and health workforce at CIHI. “Even when we see increases slowing, we’re still increasing by more than a billion a year.” —Of total drug spending, 85 per cent country-wide was on prescriptions. The reminder was non-prescribed, discretionary drug purchases such as Aspirin and Gravol. $4.5-billion difference–The most up-to-date international comparisons with OECD countries were for 2007. Canada was second behind the U.S., which spends $1,062 per capita. –“The U.S. and Canada are conspicuous outliers in that they spend the most on medicines of all these countries,” said Steve Morgan. an associate professor at the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research at the University of British Columbia, commenting on the report. —“Because they express these things in per capita terms, you think, ‘Oh well, what’s the difference between say $711 spent in France versus the $836 spent in Canada?’ That may not seem like a particularly big difference until you realize that translated to the Canadian population, that’s a $4.5-billion difference. It’s real money.” The highest per capita spending on prescribed drugs was in Newfoundland and Labrador at an estimated $908, followed by Nova Scotia at $903 and Quebec at $879. The national average was $756. The lowest per capita spending was in British Columbia at $596. -Ways to save–In Atlantic Canada, public plans have opened up, Hunt noted, while Ontario has been reigning in costs on public spending for several years. –Last year in Ontario, public spending on prescribed drugs actually decreased by 0.8 per cent, according to the report.—Few new blockbuster pharmaceutical drugs have come on the market in the past few years, which could be in part why growth in spending has fallen for the third straight year, Hunt said. –Another reason spending growth is slowing is that existing blockbuster selling drugs are also set to come off patent in the next year or two, and some have already, Hunt and Morgan noted. —To achieve more savings without a national pharmacare program, another approach would be common price negotiation, Morgan suggested. —“Can we find mechanisms to actually combine the purchasing power of all of the payers in this country – the private sector, the public sector and the different provinces – through some mechanism that actually negotiated on the collective behalf?” he said. —Such an approach could apply savings not just to the public plan but to everyone, Morgan said, adding it would not be easy.

Study Says Overuse Threatens Gains From Modified Crops
Genetically engineered crops have provided “substantial” environmental and economic benefits to American farmers, but overuse of the technology is threatening to erode the gains, a national science advisory organization said Tuesday in a report. —The report is described as the first comprehensive assessment of the impact of genetically modified crops on American farmers, who have rapidly adopted them since their introduction in 1996[U1]. The study was issued by the National Research Council, which is affiliated with the National Academy of Sciences and provides advice to the nation under a Congressional charter. —The report found that the crops allowed farmers to either reduce chemical spraying or to use less harmful chemicals[U2]. The crops also had lower production costs, higher output or extra convenience, benefits that generally outweighed the higher costs of the engineered seeds[U3]. “That’s a long and impressive list of benefits these crops can provide, and have provided to adopting farmers,” David E. Ervin, the chairman of the committee that wrote the report, said on Tuesday during a webcast news conference from Washington. —But Dr. Ervin, a professor of environmental management and economics at Portland State University in Oregon, warned that farmers were jeopardizing the benefits by planting too many so-called Roundup Ready crops. These crops are genetically engineered to be impervious to the herbicide Roundup, allowing farmers to spray the chemical to kill weeds while leaving the crops unscathed. —Overuse of this seductively simple approach to weed control is starting to backfire. Use of Roundup, or its generic equivalent, glyphosate, has skyrocketed to the point that weeds are rapidly becoming resistant to the chemical. That is rendering the technology less useful, [U4]requiring farmers to start using additional herbicides, some of them more toxic than glyphosate. —“Farmer practices may be reducing the utility of some G.E. traits as pest-management tools and increasing the likelihood of a return to more environmentally damaging practices,” the report concluded. It said the problem required national attention. —More than 80 percent of the corn, soybean and cotton grown in the United States is genetically engineered. The crops tolerate Roundup, are resistant to insects, or both. —American farmers were the first to widely adopt the technology and still account for about half of all the engineered crops grown. The crops are also being widely grown in Latin America and parts of Asia but are still largely shunned in Europe. [U5]–The rapid adoption of the crops is evidence that American farmers see the technology as beneficial[U6]. Critics of biotechnology, who say the crops may be risky to health and the environment, have issued studies saying that use of the crops has resulted in increased reliance on pesticides and has had only a minimal effect on crop yields. The National Research Council report, more than 200 pages, was prepared by a committee of mainly academic scientists, and it relied primarily on peer-reviewed papers. —Still, the report is not likely to win over critics of the crops. —One critic, Charles Benbrook, said the conclusion that the crops help farmers might not be true in the future. That is because the report relies mostly on data from the first few years, before prices of the biotech seeds rose sharply and the glyphosate-resistant weeds proliferated. —“This is a very different future,” said Dr. Benbrook, an agricultural economist who is chief scientist at the Organic Center, which promotes organic food and farming. “The cost is going to be way higher. The environmental impacts are going to go up fairly dramatically.” [U7]As prices of the biotech seeds have risen sharply, even some farmers are now starting to question whether they are worth it. Just last week, Monsanto, the leading agricultural biotechnology company, said it would lower the prices of its newest genetically engineered soybeans and corn seeds because farmers were not buying as many as it had expected. —The Justice Department is investigating whether Monsanto, which has patents on the Roundup Ready system, is violating antitrust laws, unduly increasing prices or hindering innovation. —The National Research Council report addresses this issue briefly without mentioning Monsanto. It says that patent licensing terms have “not adversely affected the economic welfare of farmers who adopt G.E. crops.” But it said there was some evidence that the availability of nonengineered crops “may be restricted for some farmers.” [U8]Monsanto, in a statement, said the report “affirms what farmers know — that agricultural biotechnology has delivered substantial environmental and economic benefits.” It said it was working with farmers to help manage and monitor herbicide-resistant weeds. —Shares of Monsanto, which have been falling since January, slipped nearly 2 percent Tuesday to $67.75. —The report said that the use of Roundup Ready crops had led to a huge increase in the spraying of glyphosate but a nearly equal decrease in the use of other herbicides. That is a net environmental benefit, the report said, because glyphosate is less toxic to animals than many other herbicides and does not last long in the environment. —The report compared genetically modified crops with the conventionally grown crops they replaced, not to organic crops. —The use of herbicide-tolerant crops has also made it easier for farmers to forgo tilling as a way to control weeds. So-called no-till farming helps prevent soil erosion and the runoff of rainwater containing sediments and chemicals. The improvement in water quality could prove to be the largest benefit of the crops, the report said, though it added that efforts should be made to measure any such effects. [U9]—-The other major class of genetically engineered crops consists of the so-called BT corn and BT cotton, which contain bacterial genes allowing the plants to produce an insecticide. The report said that use of chemical insecticides had declined as BT crops had spread. In areas with heavy insect pressure, it said, the use of the crops has increased farmer income because of higher yields and reduced spending on insecticide. The report said that when genetically engineered crops were introduced, some had lower yields than conventional varieties, a finding often cited by critics. But the report said newer studies showed either a modest increase in yield or no effect. Chuck Myers, a corn and soybean farmer from Nebraska who was not involved in the report, said that even if biotechnology had not increased the intrinsic yield potential of the crops, “If you’re controlling a pest, you’re preserving your yield.”

    Bee Pollen Recipe

1—–This I what you will need 2 tablespoons of Bee pollen powdered ( take and powder the granules in either a coffee grinder or a lender) —1 cap of either brandy or vodka— 2 ounces of water —and 4 ounces of honey—-blend the water –brandy—bee pollen—till there is a slurry or a good blended mix ( 6 -8 minutes) then add your honey through the blender and allow for a complete saturation and fusion after about 8-10 minutes pour though a strainer into a glass container—use ¼ tsp dose several times a day

2—-Variation— Add Black Seed 2 tablespoon—2 tablespoon of Honey—2 tablespoon of Cocoa— 1 Tsp of Rosemary Tincture—add 1 tablespoon of Fo Ti/Schizandra honey fusion—add 1 tsp of aloe vera ( or if you have it dried add a packet or 2 tsp of the dried aloe)—1 cap of ginseng tincture– add the 3 ounces of water and a cap of brandy or vodka or cognac—blend til smooth and fused—then add Honey—blend til smooth ( 10 min) pour into a glass bottle date it

3—-With the variation you can add what ever you like—-you can just do a simple combo or an elaborate one —the simplest way is to pulverize the Bee pollen –add the 2 ounces of water—1 cap of brandy —blend till saturated—then add honey and blend for about 6-10 minutes—it is the simplest way to make it—–The effect of this extract will vary the 1st one will act as a nutritive and endurance and liver protector—The second ( 2 ) one will act as a pancreas cancer fighter as well as liver protection and support—not to mention the support that the bee pollen gives as well as the fo ti and schizandra does as well—-the ginseng –fo ti – and schizandra act as a adaptogen as well—the Black Seed acts a a Pancreas support as well a a nutritive revitalizer and immune enhancer—the Rosemary is a powerful antioxidant that fights immune system diseases and is good for the brain —-

    Nootropic—Pyrtrinol

Immune Defense—–Neutrophils comprise the body’s first line of white blood cell immune defense – they are normally first to arrive at wound/injury sites. Yet our modern sugar-rich diet has been shown in multiple studies to significantly impair neutrophil activity.—When human volunteers were given various forms and levels of sugar in drinks, the number of germs a neutrophil could kill before dying from its own free radical release typically dropped 50 – 80%! The effect began within one hour of sugar intake, peaked at two hours, and was still significant five hours after sugar ingestion. (10) Thus a sugar-rich diet literally enhances neutrophil self-destruction as neutrophils kill germs, yet Pyritinol enhances neutrophil survival through reducing the hydroxyl radical excesses that normally lead to neutrophil death.—Another key property of Pyritinol is its vigilance-enhancing effect. Pyritinol increases nerve activity in the locus coeruleus. (11) “In humans, the number of neurons in the locus coeruleus declines with advancing age. Degeneration appears to advance slightly faster in males than females. The locus coeruleus is a brain area that … is particularly susceptible to neuronal degeneration in Alzheimer’s disease…. [There are many] studies indicating a role of this system in control of attention and … learning and memory”. [U2]NOT SURE if WHOEVER wrote this ARTICLE KNOWS what a REAL HARMFL CHEMICAL IS—XENOESTROGENS and WASTE BYPRODUCT ARE ENDOCRINE and CANCER CAUSING CHEMICALS—
[U3]This News Article HAS NO CREDIBILITY WHATSOEVER—nothing vould be further from the truth the cost is almost doubled and the yields are less—designed food failure to cause an inflated price unnecessarily on food consumption—Time to re grow our OWN
[U4]Again a Viscious cycle of increasing more toxicity to the earth and the farmers actually costing more to plant them they actually will get back in harvest and Profit due to the higher cost of costlier chemicals
[U5]As we should be doing here!!! All evidence points to the deterious effects of these chemical altered and treated foods
[U6]When putting a financial gun to farmers heads I guess that would be evidence eh!!!
[U7]They already are and have been for over 15 years—Save all your seeds this is going to be a brutal time of regenerating the soil and crops back to there way —without the GMO’s or GE tech
[U8]In other words because the GMO or GE seeds have been planted you have to let the soil sit dormant for an allotted time before you can raise anything on it and call it NON GMO because if there is any traits of the GE tech in the plant then Monsanto owns the rights to these crops and the farmer still has to pay royalties to Monsanto or nestle or dupont
[U9]In other words this is just conjecture—no evidence—another selling point without any evidence
